You have been such a Game-changer, always!

The surprises you bring in have always been blinging

life-changing, yet worth being in.

It’s been 'half a decade' in this dynamic loop of exploration,

learning, teaching, and experimentation.

Hola! from the other side; well, is it about ageing?

Oh! I feel old, maybe yes, or definitely a no.

And look, “I am Coping really well”,

says a 5-year-old professor!

You have really played your Joker card well at times!

Surrounded by zealous young minds and fruitful chaos is all that my life kinda looks like.

Do I need to write about my History, Theory & Criticism Lectures?

Well, let them do the Talking; I meant sketching, for sure!

The curious cases of students/kids have been saving me all this time.

The emotions have been overwhelming, wavering, and furtive to be fine.

And yet, “I am coping so damn well”, says a 5-year-old Professor!

Excuse me, September!

You have been Mad-confusing at times!

You have taught me enough and more from time to time.

Thank you for the beautiful transit in the gushing local trains of Bombay to Manipal's scenic chimes.

Thank you for the resilience, love, empathy, and strength you vouchsafed.

Forever grateful for knitting me into this life, your grace!
